Higher visibility for your mouse pointer in Windows 8 and 10

Do you work with multiple monitors and often lose track of your mouse pointer?
It happens to me usually because the screens are small, or the monitors are in an odd arrangement, or, most often, because there is a heck of a lot of large, stark white areas.
I found this little setting handy for making my mouse more visible:

  • In Control Panel, select Ease of Access.
  • Click on Change how your mouse works
  • Select Regular Inverting

Your mouse will now be black when it is over white areas, white over black, yellow over blue, etc.
